Type "PKUNZIP FILENAME.ZIP" or run PKZIP for Windows or WINZIP. 3 files are created: SERP1.~ INSTALL.EXE README.TXT Type "INSTALL" or click on "INSTALL.EXE" from Windows. The installation menu appears on the screen. Type to install these files to the C:\SERPENT directory or else type in desired Directory name and type . The file SERP1.~ is moved to the C:\SERPENT directory and renamed SERP1.EXE. This is a self-extracting, zipped file. The next step should be done automatically by the INSTALL program. It is "SERP1 -d". This command will unzip the files and install them to the proper directories. The program will then attenpt to install a Windows group and icon if Windows is present. You are prompted for a drive and directory again. Be sure to choose the same drive and directory as before, or Windows won't be able to find the files.
